Originally from out west, I moved to Virginia in 1998 to go to a small liberal arts school at the base of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is there that I began my design studies and a passion for photography began. More importantly, it was there that I met my wife Ellen, who is from Yorktown, VA and has a great eye for detail. I ended up graduating with a degree in multimedia design and I have since worked primarily as a graphic and software designer in the Hampton Roads area. Being proficient with the computer has enabled me to create and enhance images, as well as be able to provide a variety of offerings to our clients.
In 2008, we decided to start Garrett Ross Photography after shooting a friend's wedding. It began a wonderful journey as we have greatly enjoyed working with all of the different families and individuals that we have met.
